Dore Male Voice Choir – news

The Choir gave a concert at the Crossing, Worksop on 28 January. Our guest artists were Anthony Thompson (trumpet) and Greg Bish (guitar). Both Anthony and Greg have guested at Choir concerts in recent years. The Crossing is a fine venue, and luckily the weather was kind for our journeys from Sheffield.

Our 2011 Christmas concerts were held on 9 and 10 December in Dore Church. The concerts were sold out, and despite some wintry weather, more or less every seat was taken on both evenings. Thanks to our accompanist, Paul Green, and to our guest artist, Lorna James, for helping make both evenings so enjoyable to participate in. Many thanks also to our MD, Elizabeth Hampshire for keeping us under control!
